Allie, the shepherd, needs a home in Placer County.

Meet Allie, an 11 year old German Shepherd mix in dire need of a loving home: This sweet lady is looking for a quiet forever home with that special family that appreciates a more mature companion. Don’t let her age fool you; Allie still has some pep in her step. Daily walks and a proper diet would help this lovely girl shed a few pounds. She is a real snuggle bug, loves plenty of attention and hopes to be a true family member being able to live inside with them. Pretty Allie may do well with other animals in her new home with the proper slow introduction. She would do best with children at least 10 years old. Could this girl be the new friend you’ve been looking for? Please help us help her find a home for this beauty.  Pass this on to your friends, spread it on FaceBook, lets help this girl have a few great years.

Please contact the Placer County SPCA at: (916) 782-7722 to inquire about adopting this beautiful girl or if you’d like to help out in some other way. If a German Shepherd is too big and too hairy of a dog for you, consider adopting one of the many sweet pit mixes.  Placer SPCA is currently running a special on pits where you can adopt one for just $20.00. pit mix adoptions special And lastly, follow this link to all the sales and special events currently going on at the Placer SPCA Thrift Store: Placer SPCA Events for June >> Thanks for reading this and please do pass this on.  We’ll be running a pet of the week post here every week to help out our local shelter – because animals deserve a better end of the stick.
