Cool Off At Sacramento State Aquatic Park

Another good summer activity is going to Sacramento State Aquatic Park at Lake Natoma off Hazel Ave near Hwy 50.   You can rent sit on top kayaks, hydro bikes, canoes…the list goes on!  If you rent the kayak ( which is $10 per hour) make sure to pay a little extra to get the back rest, you’ll be happy you did! The lake’s 5+ miles long and you can paddle all the way to the Rainbow Bridge in Folsom. The Aquatic Park has special events throughout the year so make sure to check out their website below.  Oh and dogs aren’t allowed in the aquatic park but right close is Nimbus Flat State Park, where your dog is welcome as long as they’re on a leash.
